Culturally Sensitive Mental Health Counseling
The goal of the Pyramid Lake Tribal Health Clinic’s Behavioral Health Program is to provide culturally sensitive mental health and substance abuse counseling for individuals, couples, and families by utilizing evidenced based therapeutic treatment modalities.
The department provides diagnosis for psychiatric disorders, crisis intervention, and psychological evaluations for individual, couples and families. The main purpose of the Behavioral Health Program is to assist rehabilitation and stabilization of advanced emotional disorders or pathology to prevent further deterioration. The Behavioral Health Staff’s primary efforts are aimed at primary prevention and healing of mental and emotional disorders.
